 汕头市星潮留文化传播有限公司2012年11月成立于广东省汕头市。汕头是潮汕地区的核心重镇，在这里，云集了大量的土生潮汕人，很 多潮汕人有不少亲戚朋友在新加坡久居多年。这里的人对新加坡的认知和 认同很高，大家都非常渴望将孩子送到这个距离汕头只有不到4小时飞机 行程的地方求学受教育。 汕头市星潮留文化传播有限公司的创办人曾丹林老师，既是土生土长 的潮汕人，在汕头教过书，又在新加坡国立大学完成了她的硕士学业，并 在新加坡政府学校任教八年，深谙两地的教育体系与人文环境，也深知教 育方式和体制上两地的异同，可以提供更加中肯的学习建议，更有效地在 汕头本地推广和发展新加坡式学科教育，让汕头学生顺利过渡和进入新加 坡学习。 从2012年起，汕头市星潮留文化传播有限公司已经成功地培训了数名参加新加坡政府奖学金生考试的学生，被录取的潮汕地区7名奖学金生中，3名是我们培训的学员。与此同时，我们也将新加坡式英语教学有效地在汕头本地做了推广，深得广大家长和学生的认同。让学生的英语程度脱离中国式英语应试教育的束缚，英语水平得到真正的提升，在考试中也一样取得不菲的成绩。今年十月，还派送学生参加了新加坡教育部AEIS考试，通过5个月的培训，让学生成功掌握新加坡数学考试的要点和难点，并将英语水平提升至相应阶段。 汕头市星潮留文化传播有限公司为了有效地提升社会认知度，聘请了专门的市场推广人员，通过讲座、课程感受、社交网络互动、直接广告等有效的手法，在本地吸引了大量的关注度，虽然公司开办时间不长，但在本地留学市场已经拥有不小的知名度，成功打造了新加坡专业机构的形象。 正规、专业、高效、负责任，将是把我们推向高峰的动力！ Sin- Teochew Culture Communication Co. Pte Ltd (STCC), a company dedicated for students intending to studying abroad in Singapore, is founded in 2012, Guangdong, Shantou. Shantou is a core hub in the Chaoshan area, and Singapore is no stranger to the natives as they have relatives living there. Being just a 4 hours flight away from home, there are parents who yearn to send their children over to Singapore in a bid to receive a better education. The founder of STCC, Zeng Dan Lin, is a native of Shantou. Zeng Dan Lin graduated from National University of Singapore and had 8 years of teaching experience with Ministry of Education, Singapore. With her wealth of experience and interpersonal relationship in both Singapore and Shantou, she is in a better position to promote Singapore’s disciplinary studies to the native students, bridging them for studies in Singapore. Since the operation of company in 2012, STCC have successfully placed students in Singapore. Most recently, 3 out of 7 students in the ChaoShan area who have secured the Senior Middle School Scholarship (SM1) are students from our company. As opposed to the rigid exam-oriented way of learning English in Shantou, much effort have been placed to promote Singapore’s way of teaching English to students here, and these students have shown a vast improvement in their standard of English. Our latest work includes the Admission Exercise for International Students (AEIS) in October this year. STCC equipped our students to grasp the necessary skills and knowledge in both English and Math within several months and we have successfully sent them over to sit for the exam. Through advertising, organizing seminars, providing trial lesson and engaging various social media platforms, STCC focuses on raising awareness of studying abroad in Singapore among the society in Shantou. Despite her young set up, STCC have since established herself as a reliable organization to seek advice from when one intends to study abroad in Singapore. |
